About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sports Sales Executive (Corporate) to join our team in Bryanston. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our sports travel business out of the corporate market by identifying new clients, proposing and converting sales opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationships: Ensure client expectations are met and deliver high-quality service.
  • Call on new prospective clients consistently to build and retain relationships.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with fixture providers and associated relationships.
  • Follow-up with clients and leads to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of correspondence, documentation, proposals, and presentations.
  • Identify content for the monthly newsletter together with Team Sports i.e. product, company updates, promotional material, internal promotions etc.
  • Support all CRM events within the business and identify exhibitions and trade shows that would enhance our exposure in Gauteng.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Proven Sales track record dealing with corporates – preferably in the incentives or sports travel industry
  • Mature approach when dealing with people
  • Ability to handle controversial or emotional issues objectively and analytically
  • Capacity for dealing with employers and workers at all levels
  • Confidentiality, tact, and discretion when dealing with people
  • Excellent planning, Organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Integrity and Honesty
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good interpersonal skills
