Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative UI Designer to join our team. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for digital products. You will work closely with our development team, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that applications have an intuitive and engaging user experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand user requirements and translate them into visually stunning interface designs.
Design user interfaces for applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and UI patterns to ensure consistency across our digital products.
Collaborate with developers to implement and refine UI designs, ensuring feasibility and optimal user experience.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make iterative improvements to designs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies, and apply them to enhance the visual appeal and usability of our applications.
Work closely with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration of design elements and optimal performance.
Collaborate with the back-end development team to understand technical requirements and constraints for UI implementation.
Utilize cloud technologies, specifically Google Cloud, to optimize the performance and scalability of our applications.

Requirements:

Matric/ Grade 12
Relevant design related degree from an accredited institution.
5 years of proven work experience as a UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects.
Graphic design experience
Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, InDesign, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
Solid knowledge of front-end technologies, including Flutter, Angular, and React.
Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node, Spring, and .NET Core.
Experience with cloud platforms, with a primary focus on Google Cloud.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly and persuasively.
