Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative UI Designer to join our team. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for digital products. You will work closely with our development team, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that applications have an intuitive and engaging user experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand user requirements and translate them into visually stunning interface designs.
* Design user interfaces for applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
* Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and UI patterns to ensure consistency across our digital products.
* Collaborate with developers to implement and refine UI designs, ensuring feasibility and optimal user experience.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make iterative improvements to designs.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies, and apply them to enhance the visual appeal and usability of our applications.
* Work closely with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration of design elements and optimal performance.
* Collaborate with the back-end development team to understand technical requirements and constraints for UI implementation.
* Utilize cloud technologies, specifically Google Cloud, to optimize the performance and scalability of our applications.
Requirements
- Matric/ Grade 12
- Relevant design-related degree from an accredited institution.
- 5 years of proven work experience as a UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects.
- Graphic design experience.
- Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, InDesign, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies, including Flutter, Angular, and React.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node, Spring, and .NET Core.
- Experience with cloud platforms, with a primary focus on Google Cloud.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly and persuasively.
