About the Role
Our client in the Chrome mining environment is seeking an experienced underground Shift Boss/Shift Supervisor to join their fast-growing company in Burgersfort, Limpopo.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of miners during underground shifts
- Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act regulations
- Coordinate blasting operations and monitor safety protocols
- Conduct regular site inspections and report any hazards or issues
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
- Underground Mining Supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of working experience
- Underground Trackless Mining experience with a minimum of 5 years of working experience
- Previous working experience in a Chrome Mining Environment (advantageous)
- Ability to carry legal liability in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act for 2.15.1 and 2.92
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Valid Competency Certificate under Supervisory Skills
- Valid Blasting Certificate for underground mining
- Training Certificate in Management skills (advantageous)
