About the Role
Dennes Engineering is seeking an experienced Machinist and/or CNC Programmer to join our team in Ndabeni, Cape Town. As an All Round Machinist/CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for machine parts production, programming, and maintenance of various machinery. You will work independently and as part of a team, providing excellent support to colleagues and contributing to the success of our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine parts production from samples without supervision (Option A: All Rounder Artisan)
- Skilled on manual lathes & mills
- Thrives under pressure and tight deadlines
- Mastercam 2020 & SolidWorks 2019 programming proficiency (Option B: CNC Savvy Engineer)
- Fanuc G-code programming on Doosan, Mazak Slant, Leadwell, Mazak VTC41L
- Comfortable switching to manual machining when CNC capacity low
- Handles both prototype (1-off) and production runs
Requirements
- Qualified artisan (Red Seal or equivalent) with 610+ years of experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred age range 25-40, based on experience
