Job Description

New opportunity for an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join the leadership team with this international hotel group, with the role being based in Cape Town. As Assistant Front Office Manager youll be overseeing daily operations of the Front Office department including staff management, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, handling guest concerns, & maintaining high service standards. The ideal Assistant Front Office Manager will have strong leadership & excellent communication skills, someone who relishes client facing environments & developing teams. Responsibilities: Support Front Office Manager Assist in supervising daily front desk operations and team management. Guest Service Handle guest check-ins/outs, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive guest experience. Staff Supervision Help train, schedule, and motivate front desk staff. Shift Management Oversee front office activities during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations. Reservations & Room Allocation Monitor bookings, manage room inventory, and coordinate with housekeeping. Cash Handling Assist with billing, cash reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records. Reporting Prepare daily reports and communicate important information to management. Maintain Standards Ensure compliance with hotel policies and service standards. Salary Package : Market related + provident + medical aid contribution + bonus
