About the Role
never@home is an adventure-focused accommodation and travel brand with two standout properties in Cape Town – Green Point and Kloof Street, and a third opening in Hermanus in 2026. We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team and contribute to delivering quality hospitality for travellers from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising service quality across staff, facilities, and guest experience
- Supporting and coordinating with department heads to ensure seamless operations
- Ensuring health and safety compliance in all aspects of property management
- Driving people development through training and performance management
- Fostering an engaging and inclusive workplace culture
- Resolving guest inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Assisting the General Manager in executing strategic priorities for the property
Requirements
- Proven team leadership and staff-management experience
- Excellent communication, guest-relations, and interpersonal skills
- Solid problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices, including health and safety compliance
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask across diverse responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
