About the Role
Qetello, a well-established national road freight and logistics company, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead and manage its Cape Town operations. This senior operational leadership role is suited to a candidate with strong road freight experience, proven people-management capability, and a hands-on approach to operational excellence, compliance, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and on-time service delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and optimise the use of vehicles, staff, and operational resources
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and operational procedures to ensure compliance and minimise risk
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (non-negotiable)
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Transport, or related field (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years experience in road freight / logistics, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role
- Strong operational, people-management, and decision-making skills
- Solid understanding of transport legislation, fleet operations, and logistics best practices
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Transport, or related field (advantageous)
