About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven Business Relationship Manager / Client Partner to lead and grow key client engagements within the Insurance domain. This is an executive-facing role suited to a technology leader who combines strong IT transformation delivery expertise with P&L ownership, solution-based sales capability, and CXO-level relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver large-scale IT transformation programs within Insurance / BFSI environments.
- Act as a trusted advisor at CXO level, building and nurturing long-term executive relationships.
- Co-create innovative technical solutions aligned to client business strategies.
- Oversee end-to-end program and project delivery, including governance, steering committees, and change management.
- Drive solution-based sales, identifying growth opportunities and expanding account footprint.
- Own and manage account P&L ($5M) with responsibility for revenue growth and profitability.
- Deliver accelerated account growth (20%+ YoY).
- Ensure high levels of client and employee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure excellence across:
- Automation
- DevOps
- Quality Engineering
- Software Development
- SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Requirements
- Experience & Domain Expertise
- Strong experience within Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI)
Insurance experience highly preferred.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise IT transformation programs.
- 8+ years technology experience across the full SDLC lifecycle.
- Senior client/account management experience within a professional IT services or consulting organization.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership of accounts exceeding $5M.
- Evidence of driving 20%+ year-on-year growth.
- Extensive experience in solution-based sales and strategic account expansion.
Technical & Delivery Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- Engineering principles (Automation, DevOps, QE)
- Software development methodologies
- Program and portfolio management
- Change management and governance frameworks
Leadership & Commercial Skills
- Executive presence with the ability to operate at CXO level.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and business outcome focus.
- Empathetic stakeholder engagement style.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
