About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking competent and dedicated Enrolled Nurses with experience in Cardiac Care Unit ICU to join their team in Cape Town. As an Enrolled Nurse in the Cardiac Care Unit ICU, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Cardiac Care Unit ICU
- Monitor and record vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist physicians with procedures and interventions
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
- Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the South African Nursing Council
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Cardiac Care Unit ICU
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac care practices and procedures
- Ability to accurately interpret ECG readings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Valid BLS certification
Qualifications
- Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (no additional qualifications required)
