About the Role
The Business Development Manager role at our digital advertising group focuses on driving new business growth and increasing monthly recurring revenue through the conversion of qualified opportunities into subscriptions and longer-term client relationships. With a strong commercial instinct and experience in sales, business development, or media and advertising sales, this role is ideal for an energetic and target-driven individual who can build pipeline momentum and increase lead velocity.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize 37 years of experience in sales, business development, or media and advertising sales.
- Generate and qualify new leads across SMEs, retailers, service businesses, and agencies.
- Sell subscriptions, campaign packages, and top-up products while presenting the value of digital and retail media offerings.
- Build and manage pipeline activity and accuracy through CRM.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and commercial recommendations to drive conversions.
- Enforce clean commercial handovers into operations and support renewals or upsells.
Requirements
- Strong track record of closing new business.
- Own transport and a valid driver’s licence.
- Strong commercial instinct and confidence in prospecting and pitching.
- Comfortable with proposals, pricing, and objection handling.
- Energetic, target-driven, resilient, and self-motivated.
- Strong communicator confident in face-to-face, phone, WhatsApp, and email selling.
Qualifications
- Experience in recurring revenue, subscriptions, or outdoor advertising is advantageous.
