Requirements:

2 Years` post article experience in Corporate and Commercial law practice LLB Degree Additional legal qualifications advantageous Must be an admitted attorney Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (including NDAs, term sheets, sale agreements, shareholders` agreements and MOIs) and commercial property transactions Conducting and managing due diligence investigations Coordinating and managing the closing process of M&A transactions Drafting authorising resolutions and legal opinions and other closing documents Advising clients on corporate governance matters, including board duties and responsibilities, shareholder rights, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures Providing mentorship and guidance to junior professionals and support staff M&A experience is essential Strong communication skills Strong commercial drafting skills Attention to detail Good commercial sense and interpersonal skills Must be well-organised and conscientious Maintain confidentiality Reliability and self-motivation is important Take initiative and be diligent Ability to multi-task Ability to work well under pressure Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent client relationship skills Excellent time management skills Consultant: Stephnie Taljaard – Dante Personnel Cape Town
