About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective product marketing and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing and selling of Products and services to existing and potential customers.
- Servicing existing clients and liaising with new prospects for new business.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Filling out Call Reports and, on occasion, delivery of products and services to the customer.
- Reporting non-conforming products, services, and customer complaints to management.
- Providing feedback to customers on products, services, deliveries, and queries.
- Determining the degree of customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction.
Requirements
- Matric
- Relevant qualification advantageous
- Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably within the industrial tool market or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to win customers over
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and urgency
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Great attention to detail
- Committed and reliable
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, as well as experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual – English & Afrikaans
