About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Content and Community Manager to lead our content strategy across multiple channels, aligning with our B2B tech brand’s goals and values. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our audience and drives business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the monthly content calendar, planning and publishing content across the website, LinkedIn, Meta, and email
- Write and edit high-quality content including long-form SEO articles, landing page copy, email campaigns, and social media posts
- Collaborate weekly with the Performance Marketing Manager to align content with paid media strategies and landing pages
- Implement on-page SEO recommendations in partnership with an external SEO agency
- Actively manage the social media community, responding to comments, DMs, and brand mentions promptly
- Develop and distribute a monthly customer newsletter featuring product updates, case studies, and industry insights
- Support the Brand & Communications Lead with copywriting for integrated campaign touchpoints
- Create targeted upgrade and upsell content (emails, one-pagers, FAQs) for the revenue team
- Brief and direct designers and videographers on content needs, from graphics to short-form video
- Track and report on content performance, including organic reach, engagement, email open rates, and keyword rankings
- Maintain and grow the company blog, publishing a minimum of two SEO-optimised articles per month
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (NQF Level 7)
Strong copywriting portfolio that demonstrates B2B content creation
Minimum 3 years of experience in content marketing, ideally within a B2B environment
Proven experience with SEO content writing, including keyword research and on-page optimisation
Hands-on social media management experience, particularly with LinkedIn and Meta
Experience in email marketing, from campaign creation to performance analysis
Qualifications
Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s degree)
