About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Voice Broadband Migration Specialist to join our team on a 3-month contract basis in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of a Voice and Broadband Data Cleanse project, ensuring key milestones are achieved on time and with strong internal communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain customer numbering/address details and CLOA (Customer Loss Of Authority)
- Submit and track POV (Pre?Port Order Validations)
- Place porting requests via portals/email; chase supplier updates
- Challenge incorrect rejections; investigate failed migrations
- Activate migrations and update stakeholders
- Provision circuits on carrier portals; place/amend orders
- Process cancellations; calculate and communicate early termination fees
- Coordinate cease dates with suppliers; ensure services stop on agreed dates
- Advise Billing to stop charges and third parties to cease billing
- Chase updates on ceases; work with internal teams to retain customers where appropriate
Requirements
- Strong proactive, “can?do” approach
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks/assignments; deliver complex tasks quickly and respond with appropriate urgency
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Reliable, approachable; comfortable with web browsers/databases and general IT terminology
