Job Summary
Are you a reliable and skilled Debt Collector looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking debt collectos for a contract position in the Northern Suburbs area, with the availability to start immediately . If you have a proven track record in debt collection and excellent communication skills then this might be the opportunity for you
Responsibilities:
Manage assigned accounts to track and recover outstanding debts Plan and execute strategies to collect payments efficiently Locate and contact debtors to inquire about their payment status Negotiate payment plans and payoff deadlines Handle questions, complaints, and disputes professionally Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments Build trust with debtors to prevent future issues Regularly update account statuses and maintain accurate records Escalate cases to superiors when debtors are unwilling or unable to pay
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Debt Collector Ability to work effectively with targets and tight deadlines Knowledge of legal requirements related to debt collection Proficiency in MS Office and database management Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Confidence and professionalism when dealing with debtors Matric certificate essential
