FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT | CAPE TOWN CBD | OFFICE-BASED This is a newly created role in a growing, high-performance environment where finance plays a strategic role in the business. Youll work closely with senior leadership, investors and external stakeholders, taking ownership of the finance function across a property-focused portfolio. This is a hands-on role with real exposure, not a back-office accounting position. The role Youll be involved across: Financial statements and IFRS reporting Cash flow forecasting, treasury and funding support Management, investor and executive reporting Budgets, audits, tax and compliance Property analysis, valuations and acquisitions Continuous improvement of controls, systems and reporting The ideal profile This role suits someone technically strong, commercially minded and comfortable operating with accountability. Youll bring: A relevant university degree (not BTech / Diploma) SAICA / SAIPA articles preferred, plus corporate experience Strong experience in financial statements, tax and reporting Property sector exposure advantageous Professional affiliation beneficial (SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA / SAIBA / SAIT) Strong Excel skills; financial modelling a plus Clear ITC and verified qualifications Strong academic performance matters for this role, particularly in Mathematics and tertiary studies.
