About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Technician/Trainees to join our team at Takora in Cape Town City Centre. As a registered Fire Detection Technician with the SAQCC Board, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and properties in our fast-paced urban environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and initiate firefighting operations as required
  • Maintain and repair fire detection equipment, including hose reels and hydrants
  • Conduct training sessions and briefings to educate employees on fire safety protocols
  • Operate fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions

Requirements

  • Registered with the SAQCC Board as a Fire Detection Technician
  • Some experience in the fire services industry is advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own reliable transportation to Cape Town City Centre
