About the Role

Takora is seeking a Fire Technician/Trainee to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a registered Fire Detection Technician with the SAQCC Board, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect fire detection systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly
  • Respond to emergency situations involving fires or other hazards
  • Maintain accurate records of system inspections and repairs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement new procedures and protocols
  • Provide training and support to junior technicians

Requirements

  • Registered with the SAQCC Board as a Fire Detection Technician
  • Some experience in the fire services industry is advantageous
  • Experience with fire extinguishers, hose reels, and hydrants is essential
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Own reliable transportation to Cape Town City Centre
