About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our logistics hub in Cape Town City Centre. As a senior operations professional, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistic hub operations, identifying operational inefficiencies, and implementing practical solutions. Your goal is to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and ensure service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct & oversee all logistic hub operations ensuring efficient, safe, consistent service delivery
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders as well as the franchisor, ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives
- Apply a data-driven approach to forecasting, capacity planning, and customer growth initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration/Management, or a related field
- 5 years experience in a Senior Operations or General Management role within a large logistics complex organisation
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and P&L ownership
- Background in Logistics, Operations, or Large-scale Enterprise environments preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and critical-thinking skills
