Cape Town City Centre: Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test electronic hardware systems and components. Collaborate with software and embedded systems teams to ensure full hardware-software integration. Create detailed technical documentation, circuit schematics, and PCB layouts. Conduct fault-finding, performance testing, and continuous product improvement. Support project delivery from concept through to production. Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in hardware design and development. Working knowledge of embedded systems (microcontrollers, firmware integration, etc.). Proficiency in design tools such as Altium Designer or similar. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Advantageous: Experience in product certification and compliance testing. Familiarity with C/C++ programming for embedded applications.
