About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Advisory to spearhead revenue growth and advisor performance for our premier, award-winning independent financial planning practice. As a seasoned financial services leader with a passion for driving growth and mentoring elite talent, you will provide strategic oversight for a high-performing team while embedding a culture of excellence for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Financial Advisors to drive productivity and accountability.
- Manage advisor pipelines, set individual sales targets, and implement strategies to optimize conversion rates.
- Oversee lead allocation from strategic partnerships and identify cross-selling opportunities across the group.
- Maintain high standards of advice quality, ensuring full adherence to FAIS, FSCA, and TCF principles.
- Provide strategic oversight of the para-planning function to improve efficiency and support quality.
Requirements
- At least 7-10 years in financial services, with 3-5 years in a leadership or sales management role.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving AUM growth and managing sales teams within the HNW/UHNW market.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, professional presentation, and the ability to perform under pressure.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business is required.
- Postgraduate qualification (Wealth Management, Tax, or MBA) and a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation are highly preferred.
