About the Role
A global HVAC leader is seeking a skilled HVAC Sales Specialist to drive project-based sales into the consulting engineering and building services space across Cape Town and surrounds. This role requires a technically strong mechanical sales professional with excellent specification-driven business skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with Consulting Engineers, Developers, and contractors
- Drive HVAC product specification and secure project wins
- Interpret mechanical designs, BOQs, and tender documentation
- Manage the full project sales cycle from design stage to final installation
- Support clients with technically sound HVAC solutions and system selection
- Contribute to pricing strategy, tenders, and major negotiations
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (Diploma or Degree essential)
- 5 years experience in HVAC / building services project sales
- Proven sales track record selling into consulting engineering firms
- Solid exposure to commercial, retail, healthcare, and large developments
- Valid drivers licence and the ability to travel regionally
