Our client, a leader in the shipping industry is seeking a Junior Administrative & Operations Assistant to join their team based in Cape Town. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric (Grade 12) essential Certificate or diploma in Business Administration or Logistics (advantageous but not required) 0–2 years of experience in administration, invoicing, or data capturing (internship or part-time roles also acceptable). Exposure to logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping is a plus but not essential. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Professional, reliable, and trustworthy. Strong customer service orientation. Enthusiastic about developing a career in logistics and shipping Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook essential). MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS Assist with preparing and sending client quotations. Follow up on outstanding quotes to support business conversion. Generate and issue invoices under supervision, ensuring accuracy. Maintain filing systems and keep records organized. Capture operational and client data into company systems. Provide general administrative support to the operations team. Communicate professionally with clients regarding basic queries.
