Key Responsibilities: Maintain a consistent design system across all platforms Build scalable front-end components using Vue 3 (Composition API) Develop responsive, mobile-first layouts for all devices and browsers Optimize front-end performance for speed and a smooth user experience Work closely with UI/UX designers and back-end developers Write clean, modular, and well-documented code for long-term scalability Job Experience and Skills Required: Strong experience with Vue.js 3 and its ecosystem (Vue Router and Pinia/Vuex) Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, and styling tools (SASS/SCSS and Tailwind CSS) Experience with state management and dynamic data handling Proficient in Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) Familiar with browser dev tools and performance optimization Ability to work from Figma designs to build accurate UI Apply now!

About the Role

As a Junior Front-End Developer in Cape Town City Centre, you will be responsible for creating seamless and high-performance user experiences across multiple platforms. You will work closely with UX designers and back-end developers to bring interfaces to life, while contributing to a front-end architecture built for scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive design system that ensures consistent UI and brand identity
  • Build high-quality, scalable components using Vue 3, Composition API, Vue Router, and state management tools
  • Drive mobile-first, responsive design across devices, screen sizes, and browsers
  • Optimize page performance, load times, and overall front-end efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers and back-end developers to bring interfaces to life

Requirements

  • Expertise in JavaScript 3, including routing and state management (Pinia/Vuex)
  • Strong command of JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and modern UI engineering patterns
  • Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS frameworks (SASS/SCSS, Tailwind advantageous)
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket workflows
  • Experience using browser dev tools and performance debugging suites

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in front-end development
