Job Summary

My client is seeking a National Transport Manager CPT (Asset Heavy) to lead and optimize their fleet operations. This is a strategic role responsible for managing and controlling a large-scale, asset-heavy transport fleet, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance with industry regulation Responsibilities Oversee and manage fleet operations – Reduce costs, improve fuel efficiency, ensure compliance with regulations Lead and mentor team Supervise drivers Manage driver training Responsible for vehicle maintenance and repair`s budget Comply with SHERQ Policies and Procedures and Bargaining Council Analyze Data to inform business decisions Liaise with claims department to effect repairs to accident damaged vehicles Responsible for the transfer of assets to different regions and update asset register Bachelors degree in Transport/Logistics Experience in managing logistics and staff
