Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 / equivalent with a high level of computer literacy including Cargowise system 5 years experience in freight forwarding and clearing Customs affairs knowledge advantageous Experience with all modes of logistics : Air, Ocean Imports & Exports The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Operations adhere to clients instructions; ensure all work is in accordance with quoted rates; oversee internal processes and procedures; various admin duties; complete shipping documentation; customs clearances; ensure deliveries are affected as per time frames; ensure insurance claims are adhered to; ensure that pre-alerts are sent out immediately; create/compile estimates Financial management / invoicing timely and accurate invoicing; forward invoices to clients; manage profitability and operational costs; manage invoices, WIPs and Accruals Customs ensure exports are submitted timeously; attend to queries Quality checks checking invoices; ensure clearing instructions are completed; taking full ownership of each file; review operational process
