About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town City Centre. As a Registered physiotherapist with HPCSA and Malpractice Insurance, you will be part of a niche practice that values innovation and excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Consulting with patients to assess their physical conditions and identifying symptoms and challenges
- Reviewing patients’ medical history and referrals from surgeons, GPs, occupational therapists, etc.
- Planning, customising, implementing, and managing patients’ physical therapy programmes
- Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments, exercises, and specialist techniques to relieve pain and improve patients’ mobility
- Educating patients on injury prevention and how to manage physical conditions at home
- Designing and implementing injury prevention strategies
- Managing and treating short-term injuries
- Keeping detailed patient records and updating treatment plans
- Advising on lifestyle changes and workplace accommodations
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in physiotherapy
- Complying with regulations and maintaining high standards of patient care
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Biokineticists, Personal Trainers, etc.
- Working towards monthly targets
Requirements
- Registered physiotherapist with HPCSA registration
- Malpractice Insurance coverage
- Up-to-date Continuing Professional Development (CPD) status
- Own practice number or willingness to apply for own practice number
- Completed BSc in Physiotherapy
- SPT1 certification or equivalent postgraduate qualifications
- First Aid & CPR qualification
- 2-3 years experience in rehabilitation centres, sports performance facilities/private practices
Qualifications
- Completed BSc in Physiotherapy (required)
Salary & Benefits
- Guaranteed Monthly Basic Salary (sliding scale commission structure linked to monthly targets)
