About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at a popular and busy stand alone restaurant located on the Cape Town Waterfront. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the successful and profitable management of our outlet, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations to ensure seamless service delivery
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase profitability
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and goals
Requirements
- Hospitality Tertiary qualification
- 4 years restaurant management experience in well-known fast-paced brand restaurants (A la carte full service restaurants, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner or all-day service)
- Experience from busy and high-volume a la carte restaurants or steakhouse franchise operations
- Strong FOH, BOH, and financial acumen
