About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing algorithms, flowcharts, and smart solutions with fellow developers. You will also write clean, efficient, reusable code, integrate software components and third-party tools, test, deploy, debug, and improve existing systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gather user feedback, and turn it into meaningful improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Design algorithms, flowcharts, and smart solutions with fellow developers
Write clean, efficient, reusable code
Integrate software components and third-party tools
Test, deploy, debug, and improve existing systems
Troubleshoot issues and upgrade applications
Gather user feedback and turn it into meaningful improvements

Requirements

Minimum 2-5 years software development experience
Experience working with Python and Django
Testing frameworks (PyTest)
Frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React or Knockout
Source control and SQL

Qualifications

Diploma in Computer Science or higher
