About the Role
We are seeking a Registered/Enrolled Nurse to join our team as an Independent Mobile Nurse in Cape Town City Centre. As an independent mobile nurse, you will be free to set your own schedule while earning an additional income. You will conduct insurance medicals, prepare written medical reports and questionnaires, and travel to various locations to provide healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct insurance medicals, including a range of blood tests
- Prepare written medical reports and questionnaires
- Travel to various locations for appointments
- Provide healthcare services to clients as needed
Requirements
- SANC Registered
- Phlebotomy experience
- Access to a smart device and a car
- Experience in midwifery, paediatrics, and/or baby vaccinations (for Mobile Baby Vaccinations role)
- Experience in ICU, trauma, or High care, Renal/Dialysis (for Homecare Hospital at Home Woundcare role)
Qualifications
- SANC Registration
Salary & Benefits
- Base rate per completed appointment: R220.50
- Base rate for a no-show appointment: R99.75
- Fuel levy per appointment: R12.20 (not applicable for OA 1 Completed and OA 2 Completed appointments)
- Hourly Rate for on-site work: R170.00 per hour
- Compensation per patient visit for Homecare Hospital at Home Woundcare role
- Compensation per appointment for Mobile Baby Vaccinations role: R250 (if we supply the scale) or R325 (if you provide your own scale)
- Incentive of 18.44% of total earnings within each billing period (earned only for error-free work)
Wellness Events (Discovery Vitality & Momentum Multiply)
- Conduct health assessments at companies
- Offer services such as finger-prick cholesterol and glucose screenings, HIV testing, BMI calculations, and vision screenings (Snellen Chart)
- Compensated on an hourly basis for on-site work
Mobile Baby Vaccinations
- Collect vaccinations and administer them to babies
- Compensation provided per appointment
Home-based Care
- Provide IV administration and wound care services
- Compensation provided per patient visit
