Cape Town City Centre: Senior Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from design to commissioning. Liaise with clients to define technical requirements and ensure project objectives are met. Prepare project documentation including specifications, drawings, and progress reports. Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, and fabrication teams. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and schedule adherence. Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Provide engineering input during fabrication and site installation phases. Minimum Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Minimum of 35 years experience as a Project Engineer within a manufacturing or process environment. Experience working with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or process equipment will be highly advantageous. Strong understanding of project management principles and engineering documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software. Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
