Job Summary
Area/Location: Cape Town South Africa Job Description: Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated ServiceNow Developers to join their team
Responsibilities:
Agile, customer-oriented development of ServiceNow applications and interfaces using JavaScript and HTML/CSS, from concept drafting to qualified documentation. Provide consulting services and implementation tasks with a focus on relevant technologies. Assist in the rollout of new ServiceNow applications and modules. Support release management, including troubleshooting and adjustments. Conduct technical analysis on ServiceNow applications and modules. Develop and update documentation for ServiceNow design, code, and configurations. Develop and modify ServiceNow workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components, web services, tables, and menus. Code and configure interfaces between ServiceNow and other systems, including data loading, manipulation, and maintenance. Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data. Monitor the health, usage, and overall compliance of the application. Candidate
Requirements:
Over 1 year of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Platform. Certified ServiceNow Administrator required; Certified Application Developer or Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist is a plus. Experience with ServiceNow implementations of ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, and Knowledge Management, or other ITSM applications. Experience with ServiceNow client- and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs. Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, and all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system. System integration experience using web services and web-based technologies like XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, and REST/SOAP. Thorough understanding of ITIL processes. Professional experience in software or web development. Good working knowledge of JavaScript or comparable web technologies. Proficiency in SQL, HTML, XML, and CSS, as well as client/server systems. Knowledge of agile software development (scrum). Fluent English (min. B2 level). ITIL Foundations Certification or equivalent practical experience.
