Cape Town City Centre: Technical Sales Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to the sales team, drawing on an electrical engineering background Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and technical documentation Respond to customer enquiries with accurate technical and product information Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure correct solutions are offered Support product selection, specifications, and pricing Maintain accurate records within CRM and sales systems Assist with order processing and follow-up communications Key Requirements: Background specialising in Electrical Engineering (qualification or equivalent experience) Strong technical understanding of electrical products and systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical customers Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Previous experience in a sales support or technical sales role is an advantage How to apply
