About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the Renewable Energy Sector is seeking a highly experienced Construction Contracts Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The project spans two locations, Northern Cape and Eastern Cape, requiring a skilled professional to oversee contracts related to the Power Purchase Agreement and ensure seamless execution of the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer project contracts and associated documents.
- Provide oversight and advisory input during contract management activities.
- Act as a focal point for contract-related matters from Financial Close to Final Acceptance (as defined by the EPC Contract).
- Align relevant clauses in various contracts.
- Advise on optimizing efficiency during the implementation phase.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in large complex projects within the Renewable Energy industry, preferably in the REIPPPP.
- Professional Certification in Contracts Management (recommended).
- Ability to analyze non-contractual matters (engineering, cost control, planning, construction) to provide relevant contractual support.
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering and/or Construction Law (desirable).
