Job Description
A leading retail company is looking for a Talented mid-level Data Scientist to join their team in Cape Town.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on engaging projects in this position, which will include contributing to the definition and resolution of actual business problems by utilizing data and cutting-edge machine learning operational concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- To improve consumer engagement and sales methods, create predictive models.
- Provide stakeholders and decision-makers with clear and succinct communication of your observations and suggestions.
- Analyze vast and intricate data sets
- Keep up with the most recent data science approaches, tools, and trends
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Operations Research)
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in Data Science
- A solid understanding of predictive Modelling and Machine learning
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Big Data Technology knowledge
- Problem Solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
