Director of Sales Luxury Hotel | Cape Town
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Sales to join a prestigious luxury hotel based in Cape Town. This position plays a vital role in driving the propertys commercial strategy, leading sales initiatives, and positioning the hotel as a top choice within both local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximise revenue and market share.

Lead the sales team to deliver against performance objectives across multiple market segments including corporate, MICE, and leisure.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders.

Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
-
Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure cohesive brand positioning and guest experience.

Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.

Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and budgeting in line with business goals.
Requirements:

Proven track record in a senior sales management role within the luxury hospitality industry.

Minimum of 5 years experience in high-end hotel sales, ideally within Sub-Saharan Africa.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a dynamic sales team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with creativity and commercial acumen.

Willingness to travel and flexibility to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.

Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management advantageous.
