Job Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts and assist in the consolidation of group financial statements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of the general ledger.
- Manage payroll processing, statutory deductions, and related submissions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across group entities.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in audit preparation, liaising with auditors and external stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and departmental budgets.
- Support the implementation of financial systems, controls, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local and UK financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
- Provide analytical support and financial insights to senior management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial accounting or analysis, preferably within an international or group finance environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Experience in management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across borders and time zones.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or SAIPA/SAICA) advantageous.
