About the Role
Be the face of exceptional guest service at a luxury hotel in Cape Town. We are seeking a dynamic and service-driven Duty Manager with a strong Front Office focus to lead our team and create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Front Office operations ensuring seamless guest arrivals and departures
- Act as Manager on Duty ensuring smooth hotel operations during shifts
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally
- Support and guide the Front Office team to deliver luxury service standards
- Work closely with Housekeeping, Concierge and operational departments
- Assist with training, mentoring and development of team members
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 35 years Front Office experience in a quality hotel environment
- Previous Supervisor or Duty Manager experience advantageous
- Strong guest engagement and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership ability
- Ability to remain calm in a high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
