Job Summary:ATMS Fuels is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth transactions and excellent customer service. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail who can manage point-of-sale transactions and daily reconciliations effectively.Key
Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, handling inquiries and directing them as needed.Transaction Processing: Efficiently process fuel and in-store purchases through the Point of Sale (POS) system, accepting payments by cash, credit, and debit.POS System Operation: Accurately operate the POS system, ensuring correct entry of items, discounts, and promotions.Daily Transaction Verifications: Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying total sales against transactions for accuracy.Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all transactions, refunds, and voids for daily reconciliation and reporting.Inventory Monitoring: Assist in tracking stock levels and notify management for reorders or adjustments.Safety and Security: Follow safety protocols for handling cash and fuel sales, reporting any suspicious activities or irregularities to the manager.Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the checkout area clean and organized, restocking items as needed to maintain a tidy environment.
Requirements:
Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
