National hotel group requires a Cape Town based Sales Executive where a key focus will be on the Government Sector within the Western Cape. The ideal sales executive should possess strong sales and negotiation skills, experience in sales and account management, and a proven ability to meet targets by proactively visiting government departments and agencies to promote the hotel’s services. Key responsibilities Target Acquisition: Proactively visit government departments, agencies, and travel agencies to promote hotel packages, conference facilities, and accommodation. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and market share goals. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government and corporate clients. Sales Execution: Drive new business development and manage existing accounts, including handling inquiries, preparing quotes, and closing deals. Reporting: Track sales performance, maintain client information, and submit regular sales reports and forecasts. Financial Acumen: Analyze sales data and performance reports to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 35 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality, travel, or tourism industry with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Experience working with hotel sales and CRM systems, such as Opera PMS required Own reliable vehicle essential Valid Drivers License Matric Grade 12 Business Management Qualification preferred
