Key Focus

• This role is responsible for determining, documenting, and translating business requirements into innovative technology solutions, with a particular focus on robotics process automation (RPA) and intelligent automation initiatives. The incumbent will collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and RPA developers to design, implement, and optimise automated processes that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Analyse existing business processes to identify automation opportunities, process gaps, risks, and improvement areas.
• Map as-is and design to-be processes with a focus on automation feasibility and business value.
• Elicit, validate, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for RPA solutions.

Robotics & Visual Automation Solution Design

• Collaborate with RPA developers, Dashboard developers, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to design automation workflows aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and assess automation tools, platforms, and technologies suitable for business needs (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Power Bi, Tableau).
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Review automation solution designs and test cases to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, and RPA bot validation to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Support the creation and execution of automated testing where applicable.

Implementation & Change Management

• Support deployment of solutions into production, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Develop and deliver training materials and user guides for automation adoption.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and support continuous improvement of automated processes.

Documentation

• Maintain detailed process documentation, including process definition documents (PDDs), solution design documents (SDDs), Business Requirements (BRS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and runbooks.
• Document lessons learned and shared automation best practices across the business.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Skills

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong track record in RPA and automation projects.
• Proficiency in business process modelling (e.g., BPMN) and automation opportunity assessment.
• Familiarity with leading RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere (certifications advantageous).
• Experience working in Agile environments and with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of integration patterns and APIs for automation.
• Strong data analysis skills (SQL, Excel, or BI tools a plus).

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 35 years of business analysis experience, with at least 2 years in RPA/automation projects.
• Professional business analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA) preferred.
• RPA tool certification advantageous (e.g., UiPath Advanced RPA Developer).
• Experience in financial services or fintech industry advantageous.
