Job Summary
Cape Town – Western Cape
- Complete and pass all assigned tasks and tests as per the Internship Programme
- Successfully integrate yourself with the team.
- Complete all practical tasks and assignments while on-site or in the practical phase.
- Own and drive the Technical Testing function to meet testing requirements for all products.
- Interact with users to gain understanding of requirements.
- Create Test Strategies, Test plans and test cases to ensure the release of high-quality software.
- Perform software testing (Backend Testing and Data Validations) to complement existing UI Testing.
- Automation of system test cases.
- Performance Testing.
- Reporting of software defects.
- Setup and maintenance of testing simulation environments.
- Grade 12 (NSC) / Matric.
- Development or QA experience.
- Software Development.
- ISTQB Testing qualification.
- Linux skills.
- Software Testing tool Jira or similar.
- Automation and/or Manual Testing.
- Ability to operate independently while delivering work outputs that meet the quality and standards as dictated by the employer.
- High degree of aptitude in the IT environment.
- Passion for technology.
- Entrepreneurial initiative (self-starter).
- High degree of professionalism.
- Deadline driven.
- Passion, drive and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Attention to detail and producing quality work.
- Team orientated.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills.
