About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Investor AML/KYC Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our investment management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and compliance of investor onboarding processes across various fund structures, including trusts, partnerships, and corporate arrangements. With 5-7 years of experience in asset management or a related field, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients’ trust and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex investor-level AML/KYC processes
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance AML/KYC compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding of new investors and fund structures
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential risks
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of multi-jurisdictional AML requirements
- Experience working with Transfer Agents, Fund Administrators, and distribution channels
- Strong understanding of funds trusts, partnerships, corporate structures, complex ownership arrangements, and regulatory frameworks across key jurisdictions
- Relevant qualification/certification in AML/KYC or a related field

Salary & Benefits
The salary range for this position is R600k – R800k (negotiable), and it is a fixed-term contract with the possibility of remote work.
