<p><strong>Junior Financial Accountant | Luxury Property Group | Cape Town</strong><br></p><p>Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled <strong>Junior Financial Accountant</strong> to join a prestigious luxury property group based in Cape Town. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with proven experience in multi-entity environments, strong reconciliation and VAT expertise, and a solutions-driven approach.<br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br></p><ul><li><p>Preparation of monthly management accounts and detailed financial reports<br></p></li><li><p>Management of supplier invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations<br></p></li><li><p>Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in banking, payroll, and cash control processes<br></p></li><li><p>Oversight of stock control procedures and assistance with monthly stocktakes<br></p></li><li><p>Handling of customer invoicing and effective debtor management<br></p></li><li><p>Maintenance and auditing of the Fixed Asset Register<br></p></li><li><p>Ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and preparation of VAT reconciliations and returns<br></p></li><li><p>Enforcement of internal controls and contribution to audit readiness<br></p></li><li><p>Collaboration with various departments and business units across the group<br></p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br></p><ul><li><p>Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar financial accounting role<br></p></li><li><p>Strong skills in reconciliation, VAT, and supplier management<br></p></li><li><p>Proven experience working within multi-entity environments<br></p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting systems, and Nedbank online banking<br></p></li><li><p>Desirable: Experience within hospitality or retail financial environments<br></p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset<br></p></li></ul><p><strong>Package Offered:</strong><br></p><ul><li><p>Salary: R35,000 R42,000 per month (negotiable, dependent on experience)<br></p></li></ul><p>This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the success of a leading hospitality-focused group.<br></p><p><span style="color:rgb(49, 57, 73);"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);"><br></span></span></p>
