About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced National Planning & Data Optimisation Manager to join their team in Cape Town. This role focuses on driving data-driven decision-making, improving planning accuracy, and optimising operational performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse operational, production, supply chain, and financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop, maintain, and manage dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools
- Manage and query SQL databases and integrate data from ERP and planning systems
- Lead national production and inventory planning aligned to capacity and demand
- Improve forecasting accuracy and inventory performance
- Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Develop optimisation models and scenario analyses to support decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, finance, and IT teams
- Implement data-driven solutions and ensure continuous monitoring and refinement
- Manage, coach, and develop team members to ensure effective execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing and leading people
- 37 years of experience in data analytics, production planning, or operations optimisation
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, and planning/optimisation tools
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and planning environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, or a related field
