Who Are We Looking For:
The esteemed manager of our Padel club at the luxurious Camps Bay Hotel is the driving force behind the clubs seamless operation and resounding success. This dynamic role encompasses a dazzling array of responsibilities, all of which contribute to the clubs flourishing growth and unparalleled reputation. The manager leads a talented team of employees, orchestrating their efforts to ensure an exceptional experience for our discerning clientele. Collaborating closely with the commercial management team and valued shareholders, the manager plays a pivotal role in delivering a premium product that captivates and delights our customers at every turn, creating an unforgettable atmosphere within the stunning backdrop of Camps Bay.
What is Required:
Host management tasks, including welcoming guests, playing padel with them if there are not enough opponents, explaining the rules of the game and creating a WhatsApp group for photo content and marketing. Club management duties, including engaging with customers, opening and closing the club, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and that staff are rostered correctly. Pro shop, including managing sales and stock of the pro shop, tracking rentals, marketing and sales of padel equipment. Daily reporting, including padel court use percentage, daily cash ups, and reporting broken equipment for fixing.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant work experience in a managerial role is advantageous, particularly in a similar role within the sports or leisure industry.
- Experience in customer service, event management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures or possessing first aid certification is advantageous.
