Cape Town: Planner – Clothing Retail – R500k – R400k posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolves client in the clothing retail industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Planner to join their team in the Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Sales forecasting
• Financial and strategic product management skills
• Develop, implement, and control all aspects of merchandise planning
• Collaborate with all parts of the business e.g. distribution, store design, etc.
• Work closely with the fashion Merchandise Buyers and suppliers
• Systems used internationally in conjunction with bespoke in-house systems
• Ensuring that the right mix of merchandise reaches the right stores at the right price and on time

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience preferably within a fashion retailer
• Relevant numerical tertiary qualification
• Advantageous systems e.g. Oracle, ProClarity, and PLM
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Systems oriented
• Strong trader instinct
• Willing and open to contributing ideas for the greater success of the business
• Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
• Agility, flexibility and adaptability.
• Must be situated in the Western Cape
