About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading client in the clothing retail industry, is seeking an experienced Planner to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and ensuring the effective management of merchandise planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and control all aspects of merchandise planning
- Collaborate with all parts of the business (e.g., distribution, store design)
- Work closely with the fashion Merchandise Buyers and suppliers
- Ensure that the right mix of merchandise reaches the right stores at the right price and on time
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience preferably within a fashion retailer
- Relevant numerical tertiary qualification
- Advantageous systems (e.g., Oracle, ProClarity, and PLM)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Systems oriented
- Strong trader instinct
- Willing and open to contributing ideas for the greater success of the business
Qualifications
