Job Description
A leading company in the renewable energy sector is looking for a skilled and experienced Procurement Manager with experience in solar procurement to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional ready to make a tangible impact in the solar/PV industry across both commercial and residential markets.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to support solar/PV projects.

Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.

Ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications.
-
Monitor market trends to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
-
Work closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with project goals.

Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Procurement experience in the solar industry is a must.

Minimum of a BCom degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.

Proven experience in the solar/PV industry, with exposure to both commercial and residential projects.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier evaluation techniques.

Familiarity with renewable energy components and supply chain requirements.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
