Job Description

About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join their team in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with a focus on sourcing equipment and materials specifically for water treatment applications.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring that all products and services are obtained at the right quality, right cost, right place and at the right quantity
Information capturing and assistance with rotation stock counts
Assist in processing of supplier delivery notes and invoices and liaising with the finance department for queries
Following up on orders and communicating lead times
Assist with the completion and maintenance of credit applications and supplier administration duties
Handle and maintain insurance requirements for logistics where needed
Assist in the administrative procurement processes such as requesting quotations, raising supplier delivery notes, and obtaining monthly pricelists
Requesting quotations and handling local couriers
Liaising with engineers and designers
Liaise with stores and sites regarding orders and deliveries

Requirements

National Senior Certificate
Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain
5 years experience in a procurement environment
Computer literate with advanced understanding of the Microsoft Suite and software, as well as knowledge of using ERP Systems
Code B Drivers License
Able to work in a team
Able to work by her/himself
Good communication skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Good analytical skills

SysPro ERP System Experience (Mandatory)
