About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Leader/Quantity Surveyor to join client’s team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, project management, and construction cost control. The successful candidate will be responsible for the managing, delivering, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the WCGDol programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence with cashflow and programme
- Draft and review cashflow and programme
- Meet deadlines
- Keep the server up to date
- Ensure that all documentation is filed
- Manage procurement
- Manage consultant’s appointments and performance
- Manage contractor’s appointments and performance
- Comply with all processes and protocols
- Manage contracts including JBCC and NEC
- Check invoices and their correctness
- Review invoices, appointments, additional fees and other related matters
- Ensure Auditor General audits are successfully completed
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of CIDB, PROCSA, Fee Scales, consultant’s appointments
- Problem solving and communication skills for interacting with stakeholders
- Follow procedures, protocols and instructions
- Experience in professional consulting QS firms
- Experience with contract and financial administration – JBCC and NEC
- Experience in Project/Project management is beneficial
