About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As a leading contractor specializing in wet services projects across the country, we require a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims based on completed work.
  • Compile and price variations and communicate them effectively to the client.
  • Conduct accurate take-offs from wet services engineers’ drawings.
  • Prepare and submit tenders based on Bills of Quantities or drawing-based take-offs.
  • Produce monthly cost reports for each active site.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a plumbing-focused construction environment is essential.
  • Solid knowledge of the JBCC contract is highly beneficial.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with CCS (Candy) software is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform digital take-offs using QS software is a plus.

Qualifications

No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, relevant experience and skills are essential.
